1. Viscosity: A few days before planning to start a printing task (especially before carrying out important and complex printing tasks), ink blending personnel need to have a thorough understanding of the printing tasks to be undertaken (printing process, background ink block, overlap combination method, etc.), as well as the composition of the anilox roller and the printing speed to be set. Only in this way can the ink viscosity be adjusted according to printing needs.
2. PH value: In addition to paying attention to ink viscosity and all relevant information mentioned above, ink preparation personnel also need to determine the correct ink pH value to achieve the best printing effect. It is worth noting that the pH value of water-based ink will gradually decrease, especially during the printing process or when exposed to the air for a long time (without covering the ink cylinder cover). So, when not using ink, it is necessary to tightly cover the ink cylinder cover. Once the pH value decreases, the ink viscosity will increase. Only by adjusting the pH value back to the standard state (8.2-9.0) can the viscosity of the ink return to its normal state. The change in viscosity during the printing process not only leads to color changes in printing, but may also lead to other problems, such as dirty printing, edge banding, reduced color wear resistance, and so on. Therefore, an automatic ink viscosity or pH adjustment device designed for high-end users installed in the printing linkage unit is very useful.
3. Color: Everyone hopes that the color of the printed product meets the regulations. In addition, there are also some precautions: firstly, the same amount of printing material (paper) must be used for actual printing and proof printing. Secondly, the same printing equipment, printing speed, parameter settings, printing plates, anilox rollers, and other components must be used for actual printing and proof printing. 3、 It is necessary to compare the printed colors with standard printing colors under the same lighting conditions.
